Costa Rica Bound
Eleven students and two chaperons departed for a leadership summit in Costa Rica.  The trip boasts many highlights not the least of which is a keynote address by world renowned conservationist, Dr. Jane Goodall.  I have included details about the trip below.

Costa Rica Summit Tour:
From March 15-23, learn how local conservationists are protecting endangered sea turtles on the tranquil beaches of Tortuguero. You'll also visit the Tortuguero Conservation Center and Museum where you'll learn about conservation from the experts. From zip-lining adventures to whitewater rafting, you’ll experience the beauty and culture of Costa Rica while doing hands-on work to protect wildlife.

Summit Leadership Conference:

Join other teachers and students in San José for a two-day leadership conference, March 21-22. Hear from world-renowned conservationist Dr. Jane Goodall and environmentalist Severn Cullis-Suzuki, attend expert-led workshops, and gain valuable insight into the challenges and best practices surrounding environmental sustainability. 

Using Design Thinking—a creative problem-solving technique used by companies like Apple and Google—international teams of students will create and present solutions to an environmental challenge.
