Mock Trial Community Volunteers Needed
We are asking for volunteers from our community to help in the creation of the Groton-Dunstable RHS Mock Trial Team. We are looking for people with legal training or have interest and experience with the mock trial competition.  The time commitment involves at least one hour a week for three months.

We have a lot of raw talent in our school community needing your help. Currently, 16 students have signed up for this Massachusetts Bar Association-sponsored competition. We will be competing against some of the state's best teams, including Newton North HS, Marshfield, Pioneer Valley Charter, and Lowell Catholic.

If you are interested, please contact  Mr. Villagomez, our new social studies teacher, who is helping establish our team.  He is willing and happy to work with you on this worthwhile endeavor. His email is javillagomez@gdrsd.org.

New Honors Thespians:
GD’s chapter of International Thespian Society would like to welcome, Danika Manalo, Caroline Phelps, Laura Donavan, Renee Hampton and Emily Olson as the newest members of their ranks. To enter the honors/service organization students demonstrated their dedication to theater. Each new member has worked on stage and/or behind the scenes to make theater happen at GD and in the community.

New member Emily Olson is entering at the highest rank of International Honor Thespian. All are ready to support and act in the 2013-2014 GD production schedule. Currently they are busy with You Can’t Take it With You, which will run November 22 and 23 at the high school black box.
