Groton Greenway River Festival will be held Sunday, June 11, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m., sponsored by Groton Greenway Committee, complete with the famous cardboard canoe races. All events are free. There will be canoeing and kayaking all day courtesy of Nashoba Paddler, LLC. There will also be lots of environmental displays and children’s activities and musical guests,including Native American drummers. Food will be available for purchase from Groton Firefighters Association.
