Mock Auto Accident at GD this morning

This morning we staged a mock car accident on campus for our Juniors and Seniors. At this time of year, statistically, young people have a greater chance of being involved in an auto accident. The purpose of the presentation today was to provide a glimpse of what one poor decision could result in. We understand that the presentation could be disturbing given the realistic nature of the portrayal. We encourage you to talk with your children about it. Thanks to Mrs. Erickson for organizing this presentation. Also, a very special thanks to the Groton Fire Department, The Groton Police Department and the student and faculty who played a role in the presentation itself.
