GDRHS Drama Guild’s Festival of One-Acts
For the eighth year, the GDRHS Drama Guild brings you their annual winter Festival of One-Act Plays! The festival is made up of four one-act plays, with each class producing one play. All plays in this festival are directed by GDRHS students, and classes compete for the best production. Judges are brought in from the community to choose best play, best actor, best actress, and best director, among other awards. This year, there are four short comedies: Superheroes (freshmen, directed by Alyssa Hecht), Santa-napped (sophomores, directed by Naomi Young), Action News: Now With 10 Perc ent More Action (juniors, directed by Sydney Considine and Calvin Parker), and Lo se Not Thy Head (seniors, directed by Kasia Jezak).
Performances are Friday, February 3 at 7 P.M. and Saturday, February 4 at 2 P.M. and 7 P.M. Tickets are $10 general admission and $8 for students and seniors in the GDRHS Black Box Theatre. Don’t miss it: come on out and support your favorite class!
