Message from Dr. Rodriguez
As mentioned in our Roundup, we will have our high school
principal finalist attend a site visit THIS Friday at the high
school. He will meet with staff and students during the school day.
Please feel free to attend the parent session from 3:00-4:00 pm in
the high school library. We will review your feedback from his visit as one
of the final stages in our process. We are aware that no one time works
for all. We promise that when a candidate is hired we will offer
opportunities in the day and evening for a meet and greet with parents.
Candidate Background: Michael Woodlock
Mr. Woodlock has been at Tyngsborough High school for twenty
years. He currently serves as the principal of Tyngsborough High School and has
been the principal since 2012. Before that, he was a dean of students, a
department chair, and a social studies teacher. He also spent a few years as a
high school social studies teacher in Florida. Mr. Woodlock received a Bachelor
of Arts in Economic Issues and Policy from Assumption College and a Master's
degree in Secondary Education from Fitchburg State College. He is licensed as a
Principal and also holds certification in Social Studies, as well as an

Join us for the Groton-Dunstable Color Fun Run!
On May 21st, the Groton Dunstable National Honors Society is
holding a Color Fun Run to benefit the Joseph Middlemiss Big Heart Foundation. The Groton Dunstable
Color Fun Run is designed to emulate The Color Run©. The course is just under 3
miles, and there will be 5 color stations along the running path. Each station
will be a site for participants to run through clouds of colorful chalk!
Participants are encouraged to wear white t-shirts to reflect the
color they accumulate. This is an informal race where running, jogging, and
walking are accepted! Running fuel will be provided after the race.
The event will be held on Saturday, May 21st, and the race will
start at the track behind the Florence Roche School at 2:00pm. The rain-date
for this event is May 22nd at the same time and location.
The Groton-Dunstable Color Fun Run will be a great community event
for an even greater cause. We encourage students in the district to attend with
their parents and friends for a fun afternoon!
Please view the attached flyer and follow the link to the race
website for more information.
